HC Deb 12 June 1928 vol 218 c798
26. Mr. DAY

asked the Minister of Transport what action he proposes to take with reference to the recent increases in omnibus fares in the London area?

Colonel ASHLEY

The observations of the omnibus companies have been communicated to the local authorities and other bodies interested and are, no doubt, receiving their consideration. In the meantime I do not think that there is any further action which I can usefully take in the matter.

Mr. DAY

Can the Minister of Transport say whether he has received replies from all the omnibus companies with whom he has communicated?

Colonel ASHLEY

Yes, I think so.
