HC Deb 12 June 1928 vol 218 c804
40. Mr. PALING

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether any steps have yet been taken to deal with the drainage problem in the Doncaster district, as recommended in the sub-commission's Report?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Mr. Guinness)

The Ministry has been in communication with county councils and other bodies affected by the recommendations of the Doncaster Area Commission, and the question of the preparation of a Bill to give effect to those recommendations is now under consideration.

Mr. PALING

Are we to understand that there is a possibility that this Bill may be brought in before long?

Mr. GUINNESS

Yes, certainly.
