§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSCompensation is not granted for damage which may result from firing unless there are abnormal circumstances, or it can be shown that there has been negligence on 347 the part of the military authorities. I am not aware of any damage to persons or property at the Hartlepools due to such negligence, but, if my hon. Friend has any particular cases in mind, and will let me have details, I will have inquiries made.
