Mr. MALONEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has considered the request from the National Playing Fields Association for an allocation of 1 per cent. of the Road Fund to a fund to provide more open spaces and playing fields for the people; and whether he proposes to take any action?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLI have not received such a proposal, but in any case it is not one that I could entertain, having regard to the purposes for which the Road Fund was established.
