HC Deb 11 July 1928 vol 219 cc2232-3
39. Sir H. BRITTAIN

asked the Minister of Transport the present position of the negotiations between his Department, the London County Council, and the Southern Railway Company regarding the proposed new Charing Cross bridge?

The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Colonel Ashley)

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave yesterday to the hon. Member for South-West Bethnal Green (Mr. Harris), of which I am sending him a copy.

Mr. SMITHERS

Will my right hon. Friend see that, at any conferences which may take place as to the removal of Charing Cross Station, the travelling public are represented?

Colonel ASHLEY

That is a matter which I have had constantly under review.
