HC Deb 10 July 1928 vol 219 c2035
24. Mr. STEPHEN

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland the number of inhabited houses that have been condemned as unfit for human habitation in the Whitevale, Mile End and Dennistoun wards of Glasgow, and the number of houses to be built in each of those wards?

Major ELLIOT

I am informed that 64 houses have been condemned in the Whitevale ward and 443 in the Mile End ward, but none in the Dennistoun ward. 216 houses have been erected and 804 are contemplated in the Dennistoun ward, but no houses have been erected, or are contemplated, in the other two wards.
