§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSI am aware that county court proceedings have been taken successfully against certain firms, but so far as the cases that have occurred in the Metropolitan Police District are concerned, I am advised that criminal proceedings for fraud would not be successful.
§ Mr. MORRISONHas the Home Secretary any power in regard to cases outside the Metropolitan Police area?
§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSNone whatever. It is a matter for the local police or the watch committee.
