HC Deb 27 February 1928 vol 214 cc19-20
70. Mr. R. MORRISON

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been drawn to the recent production in Germany of a film entitled "The World War through German Spectacles"; whether he is aware that in this film there are scenes and incidents the accuracy of which is not confirmed by British official narratives; and whether, as certain incidents will tend to perpetuate German hatred of Great Britain and her Allies, he will communicate with the German Government with a view to the suppression of this film?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

The only knowledge I have about this film is that its exhibition in the Occupied Territory was prohibited by the Rhineland High Commission.
