HC Deb 27 February 1928 vol 214 c31
Mr. RAMSAY MacDONALD (by Private Notice)

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Government have now received the Report of the Board of Inquiry, which was appointed to investigate the conduct of certain civil servants, and, if so, when it will be published?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Churchill)

Yes, Sir. The Report has been received, and it will be in the Vote Office this evening. Between 7 and 7.30 a limited number of copies will be available, and by 8 o'clock a full distribution will be possible. Besides the Report there will be a Minute commending the Report to the attention of the various Departments of State, and also a Minute dealing with the disciplinary action which the Government consider it necessary to take in this case.
