HC Deb 13 December 1928 vol 223 cc2311-2
70. Mr. D. GRENFELL

asked the Secretary for Mines whether he has been consulted in regard to the wage reduction proposed by the South Wales coal-owners; and what action he proposes to take?

Commodore KING

No, Sir. I have not been consulted, and I do not propose to take any action, as the claim is being dealt with in accordance with the terms of the district agreement to which both employers and employés are parties.
