§ Sir J. GILMOURThere are approximately 61,000 acres of agricultural land (including rough grazings) in West Lothian. I have no information as to the acreage of land in the county that is in need of drainage.

§ Sir J. GILMOURIt is true that we are making surveys of certain counties in Scotland for certain purposes, but not necessarily to deal with this particular problem.
