Sir CHARLES TREVELYANasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty's Government has decided what action it will take on the treaties of non-aggression and mutual assistance drawn up by the Committee of the League of Nations on arbitration and security, and subsequently approved and recommended by the Assembly?
§ Sir A. CHAMBERLAINHis Majesty's Government have received from the Secretary-General of the League of Nations copies of the general Act and of the model treaties of non-aggression and mutual assistance. As the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster fully explained on the 15th of November, it is not the present intention of His Majesty's Government to adopt any of these instruments.
