§ 65. Mr. BUCHANANasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that Thomas Misset, residing at 1, Wellington Street, Glasgow, was asked to pay £4 as Income Tax; that he was sent for and made to pay instalments of £1 out of his pension; and that a threat was made to have his pension arrested towards payment of Income Tax; and, seeing that such action is illegal, what steps he proposes to take to have this case put right?
