§ 9. Sir R. THOMASasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in the interests of co-ordination and efficiency on the railways of East Africa, he will consider extending the scope of the Inter-Colonial Railway Council now functioning in Kenya and Uganda to cover Tanganyika territory also, giving to Tanganyika suitable representation upon it?
§ Mr. AMERYThis question is included in the reference of the East Africa Commission and has, no doubt, been considered by them during their recent visit to that country. I do not propose to examine the matter further until I have received their Report.
