HC Deb 26 April 1928 vol 216 c1053
11. Sir ROBERT THOMAS

asked the President of the Board of Education in how many schools the cinema is more or less regularly used in imparting instruction; and how many of these schools are in Wales, giving the numbers for each county?

The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of EDUCATION (Lord Eustace Percy)

I am afraid that I cannot give the particulars asked for by the hon. Member. The cinema is, of course, used occasionally in a number of schools as a means of supplementing and reinforcing the ordinary class-room instruction.
