HC Deb 26 April 1928 vol 216 c1051
1. Mr. ROBINSON

asked the Minister of Pensions whether the Annual Report for the year ended 31st March, 1928, will be presented before the end of April; and, if not, when it is anticipated that it will be available?

The MINISTER of PENSIONS (Major Tryon)

Much of the material required in the Annual Report of my Department is not available until some time after the end of the Financial Year. I could not therefore undertake to issue the Report by the date suggested. I took steps last year to expedite the issue of the Report for 1926–27, and the Report for the Financial Year just concluded will be issued with the least avoidable delay.
