asked the President of the Board of Trade the reason for the delay in transferring to the Irish Free State the lighthouse service off the coast of Ireland?

The hon. Member may recollect that I informed him on the 3rd May last that certain questions as to the future administration of the lighthouses in the Irish Free State were under consideration by His Majesty's Governments in Great Britain and the Irish Free State. These questions are still under consideration, and, in the meantime, the present system is, by consent of both Governments, being continued.
