HC Deb 29 November 1927 vol 211 c252
75. Mr. KELLY

asked the Minister of Health if his attention has been called to the action of a farmer at Honington, Suffolk, who, having hired a house from the Brandon Rural District Council, which house was built under the Addison housing scheme, is now engaged in an effort to have the tenant evicted; and will he take steps to amend the law so as to prevent houses, in respect of which subsidy has been paid, from being rented by tenants with a view to sub-letting as tied houses?

Sir K. WOOD

My right hon. Friend's attention has not previously been drawn to this case, but he is making inquiries and will communicate further with the hon. Member.
