§ 36. Colonel DAYasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies how long the 16 typewriters that were made in England, now in use in the offices of the Empire Marketing Board, have been in use in that office?
§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREAs the reply necessarily includes a number of dates and figures, I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
§ Colonel DAYIs it a fact that the majority of these typewriters have been introduced into the office of the Empire Marketing Board since these questions were originally put on the Paper?
§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREOh, no. I have a large list of dates here, and the list seems to show that the majority were introduced either in 1926 or early this year.
§ Colonel DAYIs it not the case that these questions started early this year, and that since then the typewriters have been introduced?
§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREThe Empire Marketing Board has been in existence only about 18 months, I believe.
