HC Deb 15 November 1927 vol 210 cc824-5
46. Mr. HARMSWORTH

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has considered the Report of the Committee on Government Printing Establishments presented to him last March; and whether His Majesty's Government intend to carry out the recommendations contained in that Report?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Churchill)

The Report referred to is now under consideration.

Mr. HARMSWORTH

As this Report has been under consideration for five months now, may I ask whether the Government can soon come to some decision?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I will give the matter my personal attention.

Mr. HARMSWORTH

May I ask my right hon. Friend whether there is any truth in the statement that new plant has been ordered or installed in the Harrow works?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I could not answer that without notice.
