SASSOONAs my hon. and gallant Friend is probably aware, the technical and semi-technical staff under the Air Ministry entered Government service for the most part after the War on temporary engagements. It has been possible during the last three years to estimate more accurately the permanent needs of the Department; and I am glad to be able to say that as a result establishment has been given to approximately 350 ex-service men in posts of the kind referred to.
