HC Deb 25 May 1927 vol 206 c1987
18. Rear-Admiral SUETER

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he can state on what date the Royal Air Force display for 1927 is to be held; whether there will be a Parliamentary enclosure as in previous years; and, if so, whether, in view of the fact that the proceeds of the display go to benefit Air Force charities, he has considered the advisability of making a small charge for admission to this enclosure to cover the cost of tea, etc.?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for AIR (Sir Philip Sassoon)

As regards the first part of the question, the Royal Air Force display will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, 2nd July. As regards the remaining parts, arrangements are being made as in previous years for an enclosure to accommodate Members of this House, and a charge of 2s. 6d. per head will be made for admission to this enclosure to cover the cost of tea, etc.
