HC Deb 25 May 1927 vol 206 c1982
7. Sir FREDRIC WISE

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs the cost to. this country of the Austria-Hungary and Bulgaria Mixed Arbitral Tribunal; and how long it is likely to sit?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

The total net cost to this country of the Anglo-Austrian, Anglo-Hungarian and Anglo-Bulgarian Mixed Arbitral Tribunals to 31st March, 1927, was £27,904 10s. 9d. It is not possible to state the probable duration of the Anglo-Austrian and Anglo-Hungarian Tribunals, as there are a considerable number of claims preferred through the British, Austrian and Hungarian Clearing Offices which have not yet been disposed of and which may have to be referred to the Tribunals. The Anglo-Bulgarian Tribunal has disposed of all the cases hitherto submitted to it, and it is hoped that an agreement on the subject of its dissolution will shortly be signed.
