HC Deb 24 May 1927 vol 206 c1825
41. Mr. LUMLEY

asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that the city of Hull has grown and is growing rapidly on the east side of the River Hull, and that large areas of East Hull are entirely without facilities for the sending of telegrams except at considerable distances; and will he consider the possibility of increasing telegraphic facilities for this area?

Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSON

I am making inquiry as regards telegraphic facilities in the district of East Hull, and I will let my hon. Friend know the result as soon as possible.
