§ The SECRETARY for MINES (Colonel Lane Fox)At 14th May, 1927, eleven mines in Lancashire were closed at which 1,411 wage-earners were employed in April, 1926. The total number of wage-earners employed at 24th April, 1926, was 96,400 and at 26th March, 1927, 90,900.
