The following Question stood on the Order Paper in the name of Mr. KIRKWOOD:

1. To ask the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that during the period 2nd October, 1926, to 26th March, 1927, no fewer than 427 unemployed men and 10 women were transferred from the books of the Clydebank Labour Exchange to the local parish council; whether he is aware that these men have 910 dependants; and if ho can state what is the estimated saving to the Unemployment Insurance Fund?
