asked the Minister of Agriculture what arrangements have been made for the payment of Members of the Standing Committee appointed under the Merchandise Marks Act to deal with agricultural applications under Section 4 of the Act?

The fees sanctioned by the Treasury are 12 guineas per day in the case of the Chairman and 10 guineas per day for each of the other Members of the Committee for each day the Committee sits, with overriding maxima of £1,200 and £1,000 per annum respectively.
