HC Deb 02 May 1927 vol 205 c1266
48. Mr. WARDLAW-MILNE

asked the Prime Minister whether he will consider inviting the Japanese and United States Governments to join in a conference for the purpose of formulating a common policy for the Pacific and Far East?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

The three Governments have been in communication on all matters which concern their joint interests in China, and no further degree of co-operation could be secured by the kind of conference which my hon. Friend suggests.
