HC Deb 02 May 1927 vol 205 c1257
23. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the cadastral survey and valuation of Palestine will be carried out district by district; when the advantages to be derived from the survey are expected to begin to accrue; and what steps are being taken to protect the rights of the Crown against claims based on doubtful titles over vacant or common lands?

Mr. AMERY

The cadastral survey will be carried out by units either of villages or settlements and the advantages there from should begin to accrue in each unit on the completion of the work in that unit. No steps such as those contemplated in the last part of the question are considered necessary.
