asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether the Admiralty is prepared to consider applications made by established men in Devonport dockyard who are within reasonable reach of attaining the age of retirement for their release on pension?

Yes, Sir. The superintendents of the dockyards have been directed to forward the names and particulars of established men who wish to be included in the forthcoming reductions and to take their discharge with superannuation benefits.
