Friend understands that the Gas Light and Coke Company are considering the erection of a low-temperature carbonising plant of the type devised by His Majesty's Fuel Research Station, but at the present stage he would prefer to make no further statement. My right hon. Friend has no information as to the other plant referred to by my hon. Friend. The last part of the question, therefore, does not arise.
