HC Deb 24 March 1927 vol 204 cc536-7
7. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Minister of Pensions how many-persons were drawing pensions arising out of the late War on the 1st March last, and the corresponding figures on the 1st March, 1926?

On the 31st December, 1925 and 1926—the nearest dates to those stated in the question for which figures can be given—the number of persons, including widows, drawing compensation in respect of disability or death, was 1,058,000 at the earlier date, and 1,022,000 at the later date.
