41. Mr. R. J. WILSONasked the Minister of Health whether he proposes to set up an inquiry into the physical, as opposed to chemical, methods of improving flour which are mentioned with favour in the Report of the Departmental Committee on the Treatment of Flour with Chemical Substances?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI understand that the improvement of flour by physical means is still in an experimental stage, and that, before making their Report, the Departmental Committee on the Treatment of Flour with Chemical Substances had before them all the evidence that is at present available on the subject. In these circumstances, I do not propose to set up any further inquiry into the question at the present time.
