HC Deb 23 March 1927 vol 204 c362
3. Mr. RILEY

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether an offer for the unconditional surrender of Wei-hai-Wei has been made to the Peking Government; and whether a similar offer has been made to the Nationalist Government of China?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

As regards the first part of the hon. Member's question, I would refer him to the reply given to the hon. Member for Batley and Morley (Mr. Forrest) on the 7th instant. The reply to the second part of his question is in the negative.
