HC Deb 21 March 1927 vol 204 cc20-1
31. Lieut.-Colonel HOWARD-BURY

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether the Irish Grants Committee, recently set up, have held any meetings; whether they have investigated any cases yet; and whether the results will be published?

Mr. AMERY

The Committee met for the first time on 13th October last, and since that date have held 25 meetings. I am informed that they have so far dealt with 771 cases. In reply to the last part of the question, I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the answer which I gave in reply to a question addressed to me by the hon. Member for Devonport (Mr. Hore-Belisha) on 17th February last.
