asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department, if he will obtain, for the information of British traders, the amount of the German tender for engines recently accepted by the South African Railway Board and the amount of the nearest British tender; and will he ascertain the approximate time of delivery required by the succesful German tendering firm and that required by the nearest British tender?
