§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSThe site was purchased as stated with a view to the erection of a block of married quarters. It has not been used, because more suitable sites have been found, and a larger number of quarters have been erected, or are in course of erection, elsewhere. I have little doubt that the site will be sold on favourable terms.

§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSI myself opened some married quarters about six months ago not far from this spot, and they are admirable buildings.
