asked the Minister of Agriculture the average amount peg acre of cereals, hay, and root crops produced in Wales, Scotland, and England, respectively, during the last year for which returns are available; and the number of cattle, horses, sheep, and pigs per 1,000 acres in each country for the same period?

In those Counties where there are large areas of rough grazings the figures of sheep per 1,000 acres of Crops and Permanent Grass tend to exaggerate the density of the sheep population.
