§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe number of licences issued during the year 1926 was 2,178,000, compared with 1,642,000 in 1925. A fee of 10s. per licence 1044 was charged, the total receipts amounting to £1,089,000 in 1926, compared with £821,000 in 1925.
