§ 20. Mr. R. MORRISONasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has received a memorial from Ceylon praying for the reinstatement of Patrick Weber, a guard on the Ceylon Government Railway; and whether, in view of the fact that, subsequent to Weber's dismissal, two of the principal witnesses against him have been arrested, fined, and dismissed the service for theft, he will have the fullest investigation made into this case before coming to a decision?
§ Mr. AMERYI have no information in this matter, but if such a memorial is forwarded to me through the Governor in accordance with the Regulations it will receive consideration.
