HC Deb 03 March 1927 vol 203 cc560-1
56. Lieut.-Colonel ACLAND-TROYTE

asked the Minister of Health whether, according to his information, rheumatoid arthritis is on the increase; whether any new methods for dealing with this disease have been brought to his notice; and what steps he is taking to investigate these new methods?

The reply to the first part of the question is in the negative. As regards the second and third parts, new methods of treatment are suggested from time to time and any that gives promise of success is investigated by medical officers of my Department.
