HC Deb 17 June 1927 vol 207 c1363
Sir FRANK NELSON (by Private Notice)

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is aware of the heavy fall in the price of raw rubber which has taken place in the last few days, and if he is in a position to say whether His Majesty's Government are contemplating the abolition of the Stevenson Restriction Scheme?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Amery)

I am aware that there has been a considerable fall in the price of raw rubber recently. His Majesty's Government are not contemplating the abolition of the Restriction Scheme.
