HC Deb 15 June 1927 vol 207 c1012
45. Sir F. WISE (for Sir J. POWER)

asked the Prime Minister whether it is proposed to take any action in pursuance of any of the recommendations of the Geneva Economic Conference; and, if so, when does he expect to be able to make a statement on the matter?

The PRIME MINISTER

His Majesty's Government are studying the Report of the International Economic Conference. As regards the details of the Report, which covers a number of matters, I doubt whether I shall be in a position to make a statement as to action to be taken until the recommendations of the Conference have been considered by the appropriate organs of the League of Nations by which the Conference was convened.
