§ 26. Mr. CECIL WILSON
asked the Minister of Labour what trade unions and combinations there are other than those of employés which exist for regulating the relations between workmen and masters, or between masters and masters, or for imposing restrictive conditions on the conduct of any trade or business; and which of such trade unions and combinations have political funds or contribute to political objects?
§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLAND
The only information which I possess relates to combinations which are registered as trade unions or which have established a. political fund under the Act of 1913. There are 93 employers' trade unions registered under the Trade Union Acts. Political funds have been established under the Act of 1913 by two of these unions, the Cinematograph Exhibitors' National Union and the British Undertakers' Association, and by one unregistered union, the National Farmers' Union.
