HC Deb 01 June 1927 vol 207 c387
64. Mr. DENNISON

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been drawn to the sentence at Milverton Police Court, Leamington, on a boy of 15 years named Erswell, to two months' imprisonment on a charge of breaking into a fog-man's hut on the Great Western Railway; whether he is aware that the boy has been in hospital for some time on the verge of sleepy sickness; and whether he will inquire into the possibility of remitting the sentence in view of all the circumstances?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

As soon as I heard of this case I called for full reports, but my inquiries are not yet completed.
