asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty the value of any foreign products or manufactures purchased for or on behalf of his Department during the last financial year; and what percentage they bear to the total purchases?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

The value is approximately £150,000 and the percentage well below one per cent. These figures exclude oil fuel and special purchases of foreign coal made last year.

What amount was included for foreign coal last year?

It is something about £250,000.
