§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Lieut.-Colonel Headlam)The total capital cost since and including the purchase in 1917 has been £75,000, and the net annual cost for 366 the latest year for which I have figures is £20,000. In calculating the annual cost no allowance has been made for the value of the repair work carried out by the Department which would otherwise have to be done by contract and paid for.
