§ 17. Mr. PALINasked the Minister of Health whether, and to what extent, he is prepared to take responsibility for the acts of an approved society, acting as agent for the Ministry, in the administration of the National Health Insurance and Widows', Orphans', and Old Age Contributory Pensions Acts?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI do not think that approved societies can properly be described as agents of the Ministry in the administration of the National Health Insurance and Contributory Pensions Acts, but I assume that the hon. Member has a specific case in mind, and if he will furnish me with particulars, I will look into it.
