Mr. MACQUISTENasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that on 8th July 14 horses were booked to be shipped from the 1235 island of Tiree to Oban per steamship "Cygnet" on 12th instant, which ship has often taken a larger number of horses; that the proprietors of the steamship "Cygnet" then wired that by Board of Trade Regulation they were only allowed to take four horses; and that only four horses were shipped; and if he will consider whether this Regulation, which results in loss to the islanders, can be rescinded?
