asked the Minister of Labour the total number of persons registered as unemployed throughout the country who are normally engaged as shipbuilding workers and the total number for the same period last year?

At 20th June, 1927, the number of persons in Great Britain classified as belonging to the shipbuilding and ship-repairing industry and recorded as unemployed was 47,499, or 22.7 per cent. of the estimated number of insured persons in that industry, as compared with 88,152, of 39.5 per cent. at 21st June, 1926.
